Mount Prospect

Green space and downtown charm

One of the reasons residents enjoy living in Mount Prospect is for its 400 acres of parks and recreation facilities. This includes four park districts, two golf courses, miniature golf courses, an outdoor wave pool, skating rinks, playgrounds, sports fields, and more.

Additionally, its downtown area is frequented by locals for its modern, brick-paved streetscapes and plentiful restaurants and businesses.

Residents look forward to the Mount Prospect Downtown Block Party every summer, which is sponsored by the Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce.
